In order to license your dog you must show proof of a current rabies vaccination and, if appropriate, proof of spay or neuter. These can both be obtained from your veterinarian.</p> <p>The fee for a dog license is $16.50 for an unspayed/unneutered dog or $8.50 for a spayed/neutered dog. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Sweden.&nbsp; <strong>A $5.00 per month fee will be assessed for late renewals.</strong></p> <p>An identification tag will be issued to the dog upon original application. If the tag is lost or damaged, a new tag can be requested at a cost to the owner of $3.00.</p> <p>Licenses are valid for one year and a renewal notice will be mailed by the Town of Sweden to the dog owner.
